New & Used Stoxkarts
5 Karts have sold in the past 4 weeks, 3 of them to Juniors who will be out at some point during the season. There are 3 Karts available on the website for sale and I have been chasing a couple of other people I know that have karts but are not doing anything with them but as yet none of them have sent adverts so we will be advertising the first new build Stoxkart for almost 4 years. I am letting drivers know before I advertise the fact next week. So if anyone is interested

Grading Period 2
Graders discretion has come into play quite a bit in both Juniors and Seniors due to the number of drivers. Juniors I have reduced the number of Superstars to 1 for the time being. Reds will be just 3 drivers as will the blues until more drivers come in and the pace of existing drivers increases. Another important thing is that we will now only be scoring points down to 10th place in the juniors for all races unless there are over 15 Karts racing. Seniors I am keeping the nu

IMPORTANT – PLUG-IN ISSUE UPDATE
It has come to light over the past two meetings at Cowdenbeath and Buxton that there appears to be an issue with the latest batch of plug-ins supplied. Unfortunately, several drivers have experienced plug-ins snapping or breaking for no obvious reason. Following closer inspection, although the welds visually appear acceptable, it would seem that the weld penetration into the tube itself may not have been sufficient. A batch of 30+ plug-ins has now been returned to TMR today f

British Championship Details
The first of our two big weekends features the Junior M1WSS British Championship held at Buxton Raceway. Normal points will be scored to form the grid. This will consist of two qualifying heats followed by a closed grid rolling start final. The qualifying heats will determine the front section of the grid, with the highest points scorer tossing a coin prior to the championship race. (If equal Points the driver with the highest place in a heat will toss the coin, If all result

Driver News Updates
Just a couple of bits to keep drivers up to date. The Taunton/Bristol weekend at the end of the year will not be happening. Hopefully after team Lomax do a test when they visit with the V8, we will have more of an idea as to whether we will be able to race there next month. Licence details. Everyone has now had plenty of time to fill their licences with the correct numbers. Please be aware if your licence is not filled in penalties will be issued. If you win a race and we de

BriSCA F2 Juniors
The announcement from BriSCA F2 is obviously something we need to be aware of, and there is no point pretending otherwise. Any new Junior formula entering oval racing will have some effect somewhere within the sport. However, we honestly believe it is likely to affect some other classes more than it affects Stoxkarts. One thing we have always battled against is the old stigma that Stoxkarts are somehow not one of the “big name” formulas. Yet over the years, we have also seen

Promoter Email
Received from GMP last night.. Hello Ian, Hope you all had a safe journey home. On behalf of the Cowdenbeath Racewall promotion we would like to thank again the StoxKart teams for another great showing in Scotland. Knockhill provided a new challenge and despite the size and undulations the class looked very good round there. We hope you enjoyed your weekend with us. Good luck for the rest of your season. Dave, Keith and the Racewall team

Off Track Live....
Aimee Havercroft is going to be busy over the Scottish weekend doing interviews, live pit updates, behind the scenes coverage and generally sticking a microphone in front of anybody she can catch standing still for more than five seconds. Please cooperate where possible and help make it work. The more content we can put out, the more coverage the formula gets, which benefits everybody involved. A quick reminder though: • Keep language clean • Keep comments sensible and approp

On-line presence
As you all know I have been trying to push our online presence. I have had the report in for the last 30 days... The online presence looks significantly stronger and much more modern now. A few things stand out immediately: The main Stoxkarts website now looks like a proper modern motorsport brand rather than a small club formula site. Branding is much more consistent across platforms. There is now regular content flow instead of occasional updates. The focus on juniors, hir

New Product Coming soon..
I have found a company that will supply Stagger gauges. They are willing to make them to any size I require but the minimum order is 30 units. However they have 5 left from a previous order that measure 50" to 80". I have ordered these and they are being shipped to be here in the next couple of weeks. These 5 are for sale at £75 each on Invoice or £5 Cash discount. First come first served.

Possible New Fixture. Your Vote Counts.
We have been contacted by a promoter regarding a possible Stoxkarts weekend at Taunton and Bristol on the 10th/11th October. At present there is no issue with Bristol itself, however it is obviously a long trip for many drivers if it was only a single meeting. Because of that, discussions are taking place around potentially running Taunton alongside Bristol as a full weekend. Before we pursue anything further, we need honest feedback from drivers regarding Taunton. For those

Scotland Discount Vouchers – Important Information

These vouchers are redeemable against parts purchases only and cannot be used against race entry fees. Promoting Stoxkarts.
Right, a bit of honesty, with a bit of maths thrown in. Since Incarace/Spedeworth announced they were dropping us, I have put a huge amount of time and effort into Stoxkarts dealing with promoters, the ORCi, insurance companies and a whole lot more behind the scenes. Just because we get a fixture list, the work does not stop there. At the start of the year I made a decision to work hard at getting the “feel good factor” back and properly promoting the formula again. I started

Teng Tools Gold Top
As you will all have seen, we have now officially announced that the 2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Final will once again be held at Buxton Raceway. This was not originally our first choice, as ideally we do not like repeating Gold Top Final venues in consecutive years. However, following the chaos and uncertainty over the winter regarding fixtures and venue availability, our options for 2026 have unfortunately been extremely limited. The reason it has taken this long to confirm an

Juniors Cancelled.
I am sorry to inform you all that after discussions with the promoter in Scotland the very tough decision has had to be made to cancel the Juniors Scottish Weekend. It is not something that we have done lightly and we are sorry to both Sponsors and Teams. The Promoter feels that 9 Stoxkarts on such large tracks would not do us or the promotion any favours. I know you will all be very disappointed and again I can only apologise. The 9 Juniors that did plan on racing and book

New Booking in Form.
We have altered the booking in form to make it simpler. The link to the page is still public under the drivers area. It now has a drop down for the meetings once they are open and it will not accept duplicate bookings. For Scotland we have had 5 drivers double book! Those who booked in under the old form for Scotland your bookings have been transferred to the new list so if you have already booked you do not need to book again.

Gradings
Full grades are now up. They will be going up on facebook a little later. Due to the Short Grading Period and large number of drivers in the seniors we have added 1 extra driver to each grade. We may add more as the season goes on. The first grading is always the hardest one to sort. Some drivers can only go up 2 grades and others only drop 1 grade. In the Juniors it is different. I have based it on experience as well as points. but still kept in place the 2 grades rule. Whe
