The Tri-M Pairs Championship & Skegness Treble Weekend
The Skegness Treble is nearly here, and as well as three days of racing, it is always one of the best social weekends of the Stoxkarts season. Tri-M Pairs Championship Running across the three days will be the Tri-M Pairs Championship, with drivers paired together and scoring points as a team throughout the weekend. The pairs will initially be made up by pairing the highest-placed Senior in the current grading list with the lowest-placed Junior in the Junior grading list, wor

Latest Grades
Latest Grades are online. Graders discretion has come into play in both Seniors and very much Juniors. Drivers who have raced on Day licences only have been taken out of the Senior Grades as it throws things out. Their points are still recorded but they will not show up on the grading list. In the Juniors I have taken into account points, meetings, experience and ability to form the grades. If anyone is not happy with their grading then please feel free to get in touch and I

Scunthorpe.
I have spoken with Matthew this morning regarding race formats at Scunthorpe. We currently have 36 Seniors and 9 Juniors booked to race. We need 1 more Junior to avoid them being dropped, so if you know anyone who is under 16 and has already completed their ORCi test (with us or another formula) please get them to book in or do a kart share for the day. With the Seniors up to 38 karts will be all-in but if we get 40+ it will be split to our ABC System. 28 all in could create

Plug-In Bearings.
As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping Stoxkarts as affordable as possible, we're pleased to announce that Stoxkarts Limited has had its own plug-in bearings manufactured in both sizes, 28mm & 25mm. Like many parts, the cost of bearings has continued to increase over recent years. Rather than simply passing those increases on, we looked at ways of reducing costs while maintaining the quality and reliability. By having our own bearings produced, we've been able to signif

Driver Notice – Disciplinary Action Taken
Following an incident at Buxton Raceway on Saturday 4th July, severe disciplinary action has been taken against a driver for a serious breach of safety during a race stoppage. During the stoppage, whilst the track had been declared safe and officials and paramedics were attending to an injured driver, a driver had their chain refitted by an on-track official and was instructed to park on the middle. Rather than complying with that instruction, the driver then drove across the

IMPORTANT NOTICE – ALL DRIVERS, PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
The safety and enjoyment of everyone at Stoxkarts is important. Parents and Guardians Your children are your responsibility at all times, both during and after racing. They must be supervised appropriately throughout the event. The legal age for drinking alcohol in the UK is 18. Any underage drinking will be dealt with seriously and may result in those involved being asked to leave the stadium or being refused permission to race the following day. New & Used Stoxkarts
5 Karts have sold in the past 4 weeks, 3 of them to Juniors who will be out at some point during the season. There are 3 Karts available on the website for sale and I have been chasing a couple of other people I know that have karts but are not doing anything with them but as yet none of them have sent adverts so we will be advertising the first new build Stoxkart for almost 4 years. I am letting drivers know before I advertise the fact next week. So if anyone is interested

Grading Period 2
Graders discretion has come into play quite a bit in both Juniors and Seniors due to the number of drivers. Juniors I have reduced the number of Superstars to 1 for the time being. Reds will be just 3 drivers as will the blues until more drivers come in and the pace of existing drivers increases. Another important thing is that we will now only be scoring points down to 10th place in the juniors for all races unless there are over 15 Karts racing. Seniors I am keeping the nu

IMPORTANT – PLUG-IN ISSUE UPDATE
It has come to light over the past two meetings at Cowdenbeath and Buxton that there appears to be an issue with the latest batch of plug-ins supplied. Unfortunately, several drivers have experienced plug-ins snapping or breaking for no obvious reason. Following closer inspection, although the welds visually appear acceptable, it would seem that the weld penetration into the tube itself may not have been sufficient. A batch of 30+ plug-ins has now been returned to TMR today f

Driver News Updates
Just a couple of bits to keep drivers up to date. The Taunton/Bristol weekend at the end of the year will not be happening. Hopefully after team Lomax do a test when they visit with the V8, we will have more of an idea as to whether we will be able to race there next month. Licence details. Everyone has now had plenty of time to fill their licences with the correct numbers. Please be aware if your licence is not filled in penalties will be issued. If you win a race and we de

BriSCA F2 Juniors
The announcement from BriSCA F2 is obviously something we need to be aware of, and there is no point pretending otherwise. Any new Junior formula entering oval racing will have some effect somewhere within the sport. However, we honestly believe it is likely to affect some other classes more than it affects Stoxkarts. One thing we have always battled against is the old stigma that Stoxkarts are somehow not one of the “big name” formulas. Yet over the years, we have also seen

On behalf of the Cowdenbeath Racewall promotion we would like to thank again the StoxKart teams for another great showing in Scotland. Off Track Live....
Aimee Havercroft is going to be busy over the Scottish weekend doing interviews, live pit updates, behind the scenes coverage and generally sticking a microphone in front of anybody she can catch standing still for more than five seconds. Please cooperate where possible and help make it work. The more content we can put out, the more coverage the formula gets, which benefits everybody involved. A quick reminder though: • Keep language clean • Keep comments sensible and approp

On-line presence
As you all know I have been trying to push our online presence. I have had the report in for the last 30 days... The online presence looks significantly stronger and much more modern now. A few things stand out immediately: The main Stoxkarts website now looks like a proper modern motorsport brand rather than a small club formula site. Branding is much more consistent across platforms. There is now regular content flow instead of occasional updates. The focus on juniors, hir
