The Tri-M Pairs Championship & Skegness Treble Weekend

  • 3 min read

The Skegness Treble is nearly here, and as well as three days of racing, it is always one of the best social weekends of the Stoxkarts season.

Tri-M Pairs Championship

Running across the three days will be the Tri-M Pairs Championship, with drivers paired together and scoring points as a team throughout the weekend.

The pairs will initially be made up by pairing the highest-placed Senior in the current grading list with the lowest-placed Junior in the Junior grading list, working through the grades in that order.

As we have fewer Juniors competing, once all the available Juniors have been paired, we will continue by pairing the highest-placed remaining Senior with the lowest-placed remaining Senior in the grading list.

The points scored by both drivers over all three days will be combined, and the team finishing the weekend with the highest combined points total will become the 2026 Tri-M Pairs Champions.

The championship is only open to drivers who are racing on all three days of the Skegness Treble.

A full list of the confirmed pairs will be published before the event.

More Than Just a Race Weekend

The Skegness Treble has always been about much more than what happens on track. It's a chance for drivers, families and teams to spend a few days together and enjoy the social side of Stoxkarts.

Thursday – Let's Go Racing

We kick things off with racing at Skegness Stadium on Thursday evening, with the first day of the Treble getting the weekend underway. The Senior feature final is for the coveted Paul Hinckley Tribute race.

Friday – Fantasy Island

Friday is traditionally the day when everyone heads into Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island.

Most teams eventually seem to find their way to the bar in the middle, so it's a good chance for everyone to get together away from the raceway and enjoy the day.

Saturday – A Day Off... For Most!

Saturday is a free day for the race teams. Some arrange a trip out, some head into Skegness, some go go-karting, while others inevitably end up back at the Stoxkart giving it a check over ready for Sunday.

The Stoxkarts Team will also be at the stadium carrying out Junior Tests on Saturday.

Please note that this is NOT a practice session. The track time is specifically for pre-arranged Junior Tests only.

Sunday – Racing & Free BBQ

Sunday sees everyone back at the stadium for the second day of racing.

After the meeting, teams are welcome to stay at the track for the evening and join us for a FREE Stoxkarts BBQ.

We're not promising anything too fancy – just the usual:

Burgers, hot dogs, chicken bites and, of course, the traditional Bradford kebabs!

Everyone is welcome. Bring yourself a chair, bring whatever you want to drink and settle in for a relaxed evening with drivers, families and friends.

There's no agenda and nothing organised – just a chance for everyone to get together and enjoy the evening.

Monday – Back to Racing

After Sunday night's BBQ, Monday morning means one thing...

Back to racing for the final day of the Skegness Treble.

Three days of racing, the Tri-M Pairs Championship and a full weekend together at Skegness.

It's always one of the weekends that makes Stoxkarts what it is, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Budget racing at its best.
