Skeggy Treble – Important Drivers' Information
The Skeggy Treble is almost here, and judging by the bookings, it looks like we're going to have another fantastic weekend.
With 60-plus Stoxkarts booked in, it is also going to be an extremely busy one!
There is quite a lot of information in this post, but please take a few minutes to read it properly before you arrive. With the number of drivers attending, our officials are going to be stretched to their limits at times, particularly on Thursday evening, so we really do need everyone's help and cooperation to keep things running smoothly.
When You Arrive – PLEASE DO THIS FIRST
When you arrive at Skegness, your first job is to sign on with the track.
Please do this before coming to the Stoxkarts trailer. Except anyone racing on a day licence. They will need to complete the paperwork first to sign on with the track.
Sign on with the track.
Pay for any passengers. Please remember that passenger payments must be made in CASH as the track office does not have a card machine available for these payments. If they pay at the normal turnstiles they will not get a wristband to get into the pits.
Once you have signed on, bring your Stoxkart for scrutineering.
Then come to the Stoxkarts trailer to sign in and pay your Stoxkarts race entry.
Doing things in this order will make life much easier for everyone. This must be done for all 3 meetings as different wristbands will be issued each day.
Three Days of Racing
There is plenty happening across all three meetings.

Tri-M Pairs – Updated Pairings

We have updated the Tri-M Pairs again with this post so everybody can check who they are paired with.
There is one alteration to the original list, 260 Chester Love will now be paired with Hire Stoxkart 901 across the three days.
Remember, all of the original pairs were worked out using the latest Junior and Senior points tables.
£10 Drivers' Fund Discount on Monday
There is also a little bonus for those supporting the entire Treble.
Drivers who compete at all three meetings – Thursday, Sunday and Monday – will receive a £10 deduction from their race entry fee on Monday, courtesy of the Drivers' Fund.
IMPORTANT – Fire Safety
This is particularly important this weekend.
The ground around the raceway is extremely dry, and there have already been issues with fires.
Every race transporter MUST have a fire extinguisher at the back of the transporter. This is compulsory.
Please also make sure a fire extinguisher is immediately to hand whenever you are:
Refuelling
Cutting
Grinding
Welding
Don't leave it buried somewhere inside the van. It needs to be readily accessible should it be needed.
BBQs
Because of the extremely dry conditions, the only type of BBQ permitted at the raceway is GAS.
NO charcoal BBQs and NO open fires are permitted.
Please take this seriously. One spark in these conditions could very quickly become a major problem.
Sunday Night – Stoxkarts BBQ
Once Sunday's meeting is finished, we'll start getting the BBQ ready.
Everyone is welcome to stay and join us.
We'll supply the food, so bring your chairs, bring whatever you want to drink and let's have a decent Stoxkarts social evening together.
Nothing complicated – just a chance for drivers, families, friends and officials to sit down after the racing and enjoy the evening. Please drink responsibly and behave! Most of us enjoy a couple of drinks but we will not tollerate
IMPORTANT – Staying at the Raceway
Being allowed to remain at the raceway on Sunday evening is a privilege, so please make sure we respect the rules and the venue.
Once the meeting has finished, the track and stadium area, including the grandstands, are OUT OF BOUNDS.
The only reason anyone should enter the stadium area after the meeting is to use the toilets.
Everyone must otherwise remain within the pit area.
Please don't put us in the position of having to ask people to leave areas they shouldn't be in.
Please Respect Everyone Around You
There will be a lot of people staying at the raceway, so please be considerate of others.
We know that most of us enjoy a drink and a good laugh, and that has always been part of the social side of the Skeggy Treble. We want everyone to enjoy themselves on Sunday night.
However, drunken stupidity, antisocial behaviour or anything that causes problems for other people or the raceway will not be tolerated.
Please enjoy yourselves, have a drink and have a laugh – but know when enough is enough.
We are guests at the stadium, and everyone's behaviour reflects on Stoxkarts and could affect whether we are allowed to do this again in the future.
After midnight, please keep music and general noise/chatter down.
People will be trying to sleep, and some will have children with them – not to mention another day's racing ahead.
Under 18's
Parents, please remember that you are responsible for your child's behaviour.
Make sure you know where they are and what they are doing, particularly during the evening.
There will be a lot of people, vehicles and equipment around the pits, so please don't simply assume somebody else is keeping an eye on them.
Please Leave the Pits as We Found Them
At the end of each meeting, please clean up your own pit area and use the bins provided.
Stoxkarts has always had an excellent reputation with promoters for leaving our pit areas clean and tidy, and we want to keep it that way.
Before you leave, have a quick look around your area and make sure you've taken everything with you and disposed of your rubbish properly.
Let's Have Another Great Skeggy Treble
There is a lot to digest in this post, but with 60-plus Stoxkarts, three race meetings, the Tri-M Pairs Championship, three Weller Motorsport GP rounds, the final Teng Tools Gold Top Qualifier, the Paul Hinckley Tribute Race, East Coast rounds and our Sunday evening social, there is a lot happening.
The officials are going to be extremely busy, particularly on Thursday, so please help us by being where you need to be, being ready when called and following the signing-on and scrutineering procedure.
Most importantly, let's work together and make sure everyone has an enjoyable weekend.
We ALL want to have a great Skeggy Treble.
Finally – Thank You
Finally, a massive personal THANK YOU from Christina and myself.
The support you have ALL given us for the Skeggy Treble has been amazing. To have the number of Stoxkarts we have booked across the three meetings means a great deal to us.
We genuinely appreciate the effort involved in getting there – the travelling, the expense, the preparation and the commitment from drivers and their families.
Now let's get to Skegness and enjoy it.
See you all at the Skeggy Treble!
Ian & Christina
