BUXTON – IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL DRIVERS

This weekend is our busiest and biggest meeting of the year, so we need everyone’s cooperation to make sure things run as smoothly as possible.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Any Stoxkarts drivers travelling up to Buxton to watch the racing on Saturday night MUST park in the Top Car Park.

There will be NO access to the pits until Sunday morning.

Please do not attempt to take transporters or Stoxkarts into the pits on Saturday night.

SUNDAY MORNING

There will be NO PRACTICE for either Junior or Senior Stoxkarts.

Please get yourselves signed in and get your Stoxkarts scrutineered as early as possible.

We will be making a particular point of checking front camber, so make sure yours is correct before you arrive. Sunday morning is not the time to discover it needs sorting!

DRIVERS BRIEFING – 11.30

The Drivers Briefing will take place at 11.30 at the Stoxkarts trailer

ALL Junior and Senior drivers MUST attend.

Drivers will be wrist banded and wrist bands will be checked prior to going onto the track, so please make sure you are there and ready.

GOLD TOP – GRAND PARADE – 12.15PM

For the Gold Top Final, we need everybody’s cooperation.

We need all 34 Stoxkarts lined up in grid order and ready in the pits for the Grand Parade by 12.15pm.

Please don't leave it until the last minute. We need everybody ready when called.

The Parade Lap Procedure – Drivers & Mechanics is attached to this post. BOTH drivers and mechanics need to read it before Sunday. Please don't turn up expecting it all to be explained on the day.

The procedure includes important instructions for both drivers and mechanics, including what to wear, RACEceiver use, how the parade will work and how the Stoxkarts will be positioned on the grid.

The SUPPLEMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS have already been posted and all Gold Top drivers should also make sure they have read those.

Please cooperate with officials and be ready when called — we have a lot to get through before the racing starts.

THE GOLD TOP START

Once the full grid is strapped in and rolling, we are under rolling lap conditions.

Remember, we can go GREEN at any point around the track within five rolling laps.

We need everybody BUMPER TO BUMPER. NO weaving. NO pulling out of line.

Most importantly, keep the pace sensible.

Do not keep getting faster and faster on each rolling lap. With 34 Stoxkarts bumper to bumper, excessive speed could cause an accident before the race has even started. When done right it is one of the best sights in Oval Racing. BE SENSIBLE!

Stay in formation, keep it tight, listen to your RACEceiver and be ready for the green at any point.

AFTER THE GOLD TOP FINAL

At the end of the race, the first four Stoxkarts will be called onto the centre.

The 4th-place finisher MUST wait and leave the track with the top three.

All four must then go straight to scrutineering. Following scrutineering, the winner’s engine will need to be removed and will be sealed ready to return to Stoxkarts HQ for testing.

FINALLY...

This is our biggest meeting of the year and a chance to showcase what Stoxkarts is all about.

There will be a lot going on and the officials will be extremely busy, so please help us by being where you need to be, when you need to be there, and listening to instructions.
