Bookings are now open for the Scottish Weekend. https://www.stoxkarts.co.uk/bookings-page
This update confirms the race formats for both days.

SATURDAY – KNOCKHILL
Highland Championship – Bannock Bowl (Seniors Only)
This will be decided on the Feature Final result only.
The winner of the feature will be crowned Highland Champion. SENIORS All points scored count towards the Scottish Grid. (See Points Scoring)
SUNDAY – COWDENBEATH SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIP
SENIORS FORMAT
Points scored across both days (Saturday + Sunday) will be combined.
Championship points system:
12 down to 1 (for this championship calculation only)
This is separate from national points
Important:
Normal national points still apply to every race as usual
These points will form a closed grid:
Highest points scorer starts front row
Grid set in descending order of points
Clutch start – bumper to bumper
Drivers who have not scored points:
Will line up behind the main grid
With a 4–5 kart gap
In graded order, bumper to bumper
(similar to the British format)
JUNIORS FORMAT
This will be run slightly differently:
Grid positions will be drawn at random
Clutch start – bumper to bumper
Important:
If a novice driver draws pole, they will not start on the front row
Any driver not comfortable starting at the front of a championship race can opt to move to the back
The grid will then be moved up accordingly
This is particularly important given the number of new junior drivers.
OVERNIGHT PARKING
Saturday Night, overnight parking will be permitted at Cowdenbeath.
Drivers are advised to:
Leave Knockhill promptly after racing
Travel straight to Cowdenbeath
Ensure arrival before access restrictions to avoid being locked out
BOOKINGS
We need bookings in as early as possible.
This is especially important For Juniors as sponsors are looking to support drivers attending.
If you are planning to race, get booked in now.
Bookings are open via the website. There will be Discount Race Fees on Sunday for those racing at both meetings.
