Driver Conduct Update

Following incidents at Buxton Raceway this weekend, a number of drivers were spoken to regarding their on-track conduct, with 2 recieving written warnings.
In addition, a serious incident involving a follow-in has been reviewed, and disciplinary action has been taken in line with the Stoxkarts Racing Rules 2026.
This has resulted in a 10 meeting ban, with 3 meetings suspended for a period of 12 months.
The matter has also been reported to the Oval Racing Council International (ORCi) and is recognised at that level.
We want to make this absolutely clear:
Contact is part of Stoxkarts racing. However, driving that is over aggressive, reckless, or brings other drivers into incidents unnecessarily will not be accepted.
This weekend, in the Seniors, there were multiple situations where the standard of driving fell below what is expected. Incidents are now affecting drivers who are not involved, and that is not acceptable.
All drivers are reminded of their responsibilities under Rule 4.1:
Contact must be controlled and used correctly
Follow-ins and dangerous driving will result in action being taken
Where required, penalties will be applied in line with the rulebook, including suspensions of this level.
This is not about stopping racing, it is about maintaining control, safety, and the standard of the formula. We would also like to point out that the driving standards in the Juniors was exemplarily.
