Latest Meeting Report.

Ipswich 25th October

The Stoxkarts visited Ipswich on a cool autumn evening which produced another strong night’s racing for both Seniors and Juniors. With good grids across both classes, the drivers delivered fast and competitive racing throughout the programme.

SENIORS

Heat One

A strong opening race saw 173 – Paul Kaye take the win ahead of 380 – Liam Powell and 141 – Darren Hill. 818 – Richard Howarth, 25 – Callum Johnson, and 503 – AJ Hemingway completed the top six, while 791 – Ryan Stuart and 38 – Freddie Holden rounded off the top eight.

Heat Two

380 hit back with a convincing drive in the second heat to take victory, followed by 357 – Ben Limb, 8 – Matthew Lloyd, and 38. 25, 173, and 218 – Jake Watson were next home, with 503, 141, and 818 all inside the top ten.

Feature Final

The main race of the evening went the way of 38, who took the chequered flag after a close battle with 173 and 218. 503, 357, and 8 followed, with 818, 141, 242 – Mark Bishop, and 528 – Rob Key Jnr completing the top ten.

JUNIORS

The Juniors once again impressed with some excellent driving and clean competition across all three races.

Heat One

J-503 – Jack Davies claimed the first Junior win of the night ahead of J-26 – Mason Paskin and J-818 – Bobby Earnshaw, with J-599 – Oliver Lawrence, J-375 – Freddie Kingham, and J-140 – Harvey Haywood completing the front order.

Heat Two

J-818 took the second heat after a strong performance, finishing ahead of J-140 and J-26. J-599, J-375, and J-516 – Henry Cooper filled the next places, with J-127 – Harrison Berkett, J-317 – Sienna Moss, J-450 – Riley Jackson, and J-373 – Daisy Kaye also in the top ten.

Feature Final

The Feature Final saw J-599 take the main win of the night, chased home by J-127 and J-375. J-519 – Jack Lawrence-Smith, J-140, and J-450 followed, ahead of J-516, J-818, J-317, and J-373 to round off another excellent showing from the Juniors.

The next meeting will be at Buxton Raceway on Sunday 2nd November, with the first race at 12:30 pm. Both Seniors and Juniors are back in action for what promises to be another full and exciting afternoon of racing.
