All drivers, both Junior and Senior, must have the following safety equipment: a correct helmet, fire-retardant race suit, fire-retardant balaclava, fire-retardant gloves, footwear that covers the ankle bone, and a neck support or HANS-type device (as required). All equipment must meet current ORCi safety standards.

No. You can complete the licence process first. Senior drivers can race on a day licence. Juniors must take out a full licence even if using a hire kart.

Yes, new Junior drivers must pass a driving competence assessment, which includes both a practical and a written test.

No. Some drivers come by themselves but many race with just one helper. Others bring a small team. It’s completely personal choice.

A Stoxkart fits comfortably in a single garage, shed, workshop or trailer. No specialist facilities are needed. They are roughly 6ft long x 5ft wide by 5ft tall.
