How People Are Finding Stoxkarts – And Why It Matters

When we started putting more time into the Stoxkarts website and our social media, the aim wasn't simply to get more likes or followers.
The important thing was to make Stoxkarts easier to find.
For a relatively small motorsport formula, that's a big challenge. Most people who already know Stoxkarts can simply search for us by name. The people we really want to reach are those who don't know we exist yet.
Someone might be looking for affordable motorsport. A parent might be searching for somewhere their son or daughter can start racing. An existing racer might be looking for a different formula where driver ability matters more than the size of the budget.
Those are the people we want to find Stoxkarts.

The figures are starting to show a difference
During the latest 30-day period, the Stoxkarts website recorded 1,771 sessions.
Of those:
700 came from organic search, accounting for around 40% of all website sessions.
Another 495 came from organic social media, representing around 28%.
That's particularly encouraging because we're not relying on paid advertising to generate those figures.
The way people search is changing
Perhaps the most interesting development is AI search.

Platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity are increasingly being used in much the same way people have traditionally used Google.
Instead of searching for the name of a particular formula, someone can now ask questions such as:
“How can I start short oval racing in the UK?”
“What affordable motorsport can teenagers do?”
“Where can I try short oval racing before buying a race car?”
That's important for Stoxkarts.
During the last 30 days, Wix recorded 185 user queries on ChatGPT connected with the Stoxkarts website – an increase of 110%.
Our current Wix AI visibility scores are 39% for ChatGPT and 44% for both Gemini and Perplexity.
Those figures certainly aren't perfect, but that's actually what makes them useful. They show both the progress we've made and the opportunity still ahead of us.
It's not just about searching for “Stoxkarts”
This is probably the most important part.

If somebody types Stoxkarts into Google, they've already heard of us.
We want to reach the person who hasn't.
Our search data is beginning to show Stoxkarts appearing for broader searches connected with junior racing, stock car racing, short oval racing and individual race venues.
That's exactly where we need to be.
The website has therefore become much more than somewhere to put fixtures and results. Alongside our social media, it's becoming one of the main ways we introduce completely new people to the formula.
Where do we go from here?
We keep doing what we've been doing.
We continue publishing genuine news, meeting reports, championship updates and information that people actually want to read.
We continue explaining clearly what Stoxkarts is, how much it costs, how Juniors and Seniors can get involved and how somebody can try racing before committing to buying their own Stoxkart.
And we'll continue using social media to bring people back to the website where they can discover more.
We're not interested in chasing numbers simply for the sake of having bigger numbers.

If more people who have never heard of Stoxkarts discover the formula, understand what we offer and ultimately come racing, that's the figure that really matters.
Budget racing at its best.
