Teng Tools Gold Top

As you will all have seen, we have now officially announced that the 2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Final will once again be held at Buxton Raceway.

This was not originally our first choice, as ideally we do not like repeating Gold Top Final venues in consecutive years. However, following the chaos and uncertainty over the winter regarding fixtures and venue availability, our options for 2026 have unfortunately been extremely limited.

The reason it has taken this long to confirm and announce the date is because we have spent a considerable amount of time in discussions with Yorstox regarding possible opportunities and dates. We explored several different possibilities in an effort to secure an alternative venue for the event.

We worked very hard behind the scenes trying to put something together at Scunthorpe, but unfortunately it was simply not possible to make it happen this year. We were also involved in discussions regarding another venue that Yorstox had been looking at running during 2026, with the possibility of tying the Gold Top Final into that fixture. Again however, despite efforts from all involved, this did not come to fruition.

With time moving on and the fixture list needing to be finalised, the decision has therefore been made to return the Gold Top Final to Buxton Raceway for 2026.

One difference from last year is that the Junior Stoxkarts will also now be appearing at the meeting, which should help create an even bigger occasion for the formula as a whole.

Whilst we appreciate some may have hoped for a different venue this season, we feel Buxton still provides a superb track for a major championship event and continues to produce close, fast and entertaining racing.

Hopefully in 2027 we will once again be in a position where we can move the Gold Top Final to a different venue, but at this stage we will simply have to wait and see what opportunities and fixture arrangements become available next year.
