Promoting Stoxkarts.

Right, a bit of honesty, with a bit of maths thrown in.

Since Incarace/Spedeworth announced they were dropping us, I have put a huge amount of time and effort into Stoxkarts dealing with promoters, the ORCi, insurance companies and a whole lot more behind the scenes. Just because we get a fixture list, the work does not stop there.

At the start of the year I made a decision to work hard at getting the “feel good factor” back and properly promoting the formula again. I started the 90-day push and, to a point, it is working. The numbers prove that. Website traffic is up, social media reach is up, enquiries are up, and more people are seeing the formula than they have for a long time.

But I cannot do it all on my own.

Some drivers and teams have been brilliant. They have shared posts, commented, tagged the page and helped push things along.

Others have done absolutely bugger all.

I am not asking everyone to share every single post or spend hours writing reports. But if every driver simply liked, commented on or, more importantly, shared the odd post, it would make a massive difference to the reach we get.

Social media works on engagement. The more interaction posts get, the more people see them. It really is that simple.

Here is the maths behind it.

If I create a post and 100 people see it, and 50 of those share it to their own friends, suddenly another 5,000 people see that post.

If only 20 people from that next group share it, that becomes another 100,000 people seeing it.

If only 10 people from there share it again, that becomes another 1,000,000 people seeing it.

Then if only 2 more people out of every 100 share it again, suddenly another 2,000,000 people see it.

The total reach from one single post would potentially become over 3.1 MILLION people.

And if JUST 0.0002% of those people decided to race Stoxkarts, that would still potentially be another 6 drivers.

That is exactly why social media sharing matters. Even tiny engagement percentages create massive reach once things start snowballing.

Starting today for the next 7–10 days I am going to do a major push for Junior Stoxkarts. We are losing several juniors over the next couple of months due to age, so we NEED new drivers coming through, and everybody needs to help.

You are nearly all on social media every day anyway. Sharing one post takes seconds.

Remember, this is not just promoting “my business”. This is promoting the formula YOU race in and spend YOUR money on.

More drivers means:

  • stronger grids

  • better meetings

  • more interest

  • better numbers to go to promoters with

  • more future stability

  • a healthier formula for everybody

I will continue doing my bit for the next 40+ days, but if YOU, the drivers and teams, are not willing to help push the formula forward as well, then there is little point in me spending hours every week doing promotion after promotion just for people to scroll past it without even hitting share.

Only 14 people have taken the time to leave a Google review, which honestly is pretty disappointing. If you enjoy racing Stoxkarts and want to see the formula keep moving forward, then help promote it.

Like posts. Comment on posts. Tag the page. Follow the page, not just the group. Most importantly of all, SHARE posts.

Upload your own photos and videos as well. It all helps.

Be proud of what you do. There are millions of people out there who would love to have a hobby like yours.

Promotion only works if everybody pulls together.
