Junior Scottish

Unfortunately, Junior Stoxkarts have been cancelled for the upcoming Scottish Weekend meetings at Knockhill and Cowdenbeath.

Following discussions between Stoxkarts Ltd and the track promotions, a joint decision has been taken that with the current low number of Junior bookings, it would not be of benefit to either the promotions or Stoxkarts Ltd to continue with the Junior formula on the programme for the weekend.

This has certainly not been an easy decision to make, however we have to be realistic regarding the current numbers, and ultimately we feel that proceeding under the circumstances would do neither the formula nor the meetings any favours.

We would like to thank all of the Junior drivers and teams who had already booked in to race, along with the sponsors who had agreed to support the weekend.

On a positive note, Senior Stoxkarts for the Scottish Weekend are currently at record levels, with over 30 drivers already booked in to compete each day.

Due to the superb Senior entry, the promotions have agreed to add an extra Senior Stoxkarts race on both days, which should provide an excellent weekend of racing for drivers and supporters alike.
