The 2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Championship is underway, and after Round 1 at Buxton Raceway, the first standings of the season are now confirmed.
Leading the way is 173 Paul Kaye, who takes the early advantage after a strong and consistent opening weekend. Close behind is 4 Andrew Duddy, showing he’s still firmly in the fight, with 375 Freddie Kingham making an immediate impact in his first Senior meetings to sit third.
380 Liam Powell and 544 William Allen complete the top five, both within striking distance heading into the next round.
Further down the order, the points remain tight, with several drivers well placed to move forward with a strong result next time out. At this stage of the season, one good meeting can make a significant difference.
Championship Picture
With just one round completed, there is no clear runaway leader. Multiple drivers have already shown race-winning pace, and consistency across the next few meetings will be key in shaping the early part of the championship.
Next Round
The championship continues at Skegness Raceway on 3rd & 4th May, where drivers will be looking to build on their opening results and establish themselves in the Gold Top standings.
