The Josh Johnson #Forever 18 Race

Sunday 25 October 2026 Skegness Stadium

Racing starts 12 noon.

Following discussions with the Johnson family, we're proud to announce a very special addition to our final meeting of the 2026 season – the 22 Josh Johnson #Forever 18 Race.

Josh was one of our own, starting his Stoxkarts racing career in the Juniors before progressing into the Seniors. He absolutely loved his racing, and we want this event to reflect that.

The plan is to make this an annual tradition, with the 22 Josh Johnson #Forever 18 Trophy becoming the Feature final race of every Stoxkarts season.

For the first one this year we're going to make it a bit different.

For this year, it will be an additional, non-points scoring race after the feature final to round off the 2026 season in style.

THE RACE

• 22 laps of Stoxkarts racing.

• All grid positions drawn from a hat.

• Draw grid position 22 and win £22 cash!

• No limit on the number of Stoxkarts that can compete.

• Closed grid, 3-wide, bumper-to-bumper clutch start.

• Lead the race at the end of lap 18 and collect £22 cash!

• A few guest drivers will also be joining in.

• Normal Stoxkarts racing rules apply.

THE PRIZES

The winner will receive something rather special – a full race meeting hire in a 2 Litre Saloon, courtesy of the Johnson family!

There will also be a winner's retention trophy and trophies for the top three finishers.

We're also planning a group photograph of all the Stoxkarts and their drivers on the day, so let's get as many as possible involved.

A massive thank you to Lee, Hannah and Callum for their support in making this happen.

Josh loved his racing, and that's what this event is all about. Getting everyone together, remembering Josh, enjoying some great racing, having a laugh and finishing the season with something special.

Let's make the first #Forever 18 Josh Johnson Race one to remember!
