2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Championship – Engine Inspection & Dyno Results

Following the 2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Final at Buxton, we can confirm that all post-race engine checks have now been completed.
On Wednesday evening, Freddie Holden’s engine was formally inspected at Stoxkarts HQ by Mick Havercroft and myself.
The engine was removed from its still-sealed box, and the complete dyno history dating back to 2019 was reviewed on the dyno PC. Mick personally checked and confirmed that the seal numbers recorded on the PC matched those on the engine.
The carburettor was removed and thoroughly inspected for any signs of porting, polishing or unauthorised modification, including the carb spacer vacuum and cylinder head ports.
The jet and emulsion were also removed and checked against our official records, while the main jet pin was tested to confirm it had not been altered.
The engine was then run on the dyno, with the results compared against both its most recent test in March 2026 and its original baseline test from 2019.
Several dyno pulls were carried out, with all figures returning as expected.
Both Mick and I were fully satisfied with the inspection and dyno results.
We can therefore officially confirm that 38 Freddie Holden is the 2026 Teng Tools Gold Top Champion.
We would like to thank Mick Havercroft for taking time out of his day to attend Stoxkarts HQ and independently oversee the inspection and dyno testing.
Congratulations to Freddie and the Holden family.
