
Stoxkarts Business & Events Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all events, kart hire, sponsorship, services, bookings and invoices issued by Stoxkarts Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By entering an event, booking a service, signing any form, or making payment to Stoxkarts Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
Stoxkarts – Stoxkarts Ltd and its appointed officials, contractors and authorised representatives. Participant – any driver, team member, parent/guardian, sponsor, customer or attendee. Junior Participant – any driver under 18 years of age. Parent/Guardian – the legal guardian of a Junior Participant. Event – any meeting, test session, hire, championship round, promotional activity or private session organised or operated by Stoxkarts Ltd.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
All invoices are due within 7 days unless stated otherwise in writing. Race fees must be paid in cash on the day of the event prior to competing, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. Failure to make payment may result in refusal to race, attend events, or receive services.
3. LATE PAYMENT – INTEREST & CHARGES
Stoxkarts Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue balances in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Participants with outstanding invoices may be refused future bookings.
4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Entries and bookings are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Stoxkarts Ltd. Where an event is postponed, payments will be transferred to the rescheduled date. No refunds will be issued for mechanical failure, damage, illness, non-attendance, or withdrawal after booking.
5. EVENT CHANGES & FORCE MAJEURE
Stoxkarts Ltd reserves the right to amend, postpone or cancel events due to weather conditions, track availability, safety concerns, regulatory restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. RISK & LIABILITY
Motorsport is a dangerous activity. By entering or attending any event, you accept the inherent risk of injury, damage or death.
7. JUNIOR DRIVERS & PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY
The Parent/Guardian confirms they have full legal authority to enter the Junior Participant into motorsport activity and accepts all risks.
8. EQUIPMENT & DAMAGE
Participants are responsible for any damage to hired or issued equipment (excluding normal wear and tear on official hire karts).
9. BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
Stoxkarts Ltd reserves the right to exclude any participant for abusive, dangerous, disruptive or unsporting behaviour.
10. SPONSORSHIP & MEDIA
Participants grant Stoxkarts Ltd permission to use names, images, karts and results for promotional purposes.
11. DATA PROTECTION
Data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12. JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
