10 Qualifying Rounds in 2012 to determine the grid for 'the big one' winner takes all Gold Top race over 20 high adrenalin laps.

This will consist of one high adrenalin race to the chequered flag for the much coveted ‘Gold Roof’ at Birmingham Wheels on 27th October, with grid positions being decided by the points scored by each driver throughout the season at each qualifying round.

The winner will scoop a brand new TENG TOOLS Top Box, 2nd place will receive a £100 TENG TOOLS voucher and 3rd place will receive a £50 TENG TOOLS voucher all courtesy of our main 2012 sponsor TENG TOOLS. The winner will also receive the Gold Top Annual Trophy (to be returned the following year) along with a smaller replica trophy that he or she will keep.

In addition, the Gold Top Champion will carry the GOLD roof and will receive a £10 reduction on their race entry fee at every meeting they attend and race at as current Champion throughout the 2012 season.

National Points Championship

Season long championship

	£200 Voucher for the WINNER,  £100 Voucher for 2nd place and £50 Voucher for 3rd place

	The much coveted #1 racing number for the following season as reigning Champion

Run over the length of the season with 4 dropped scores for a drivers worst 4 points scoring meetings. Points shootout finale, Stoke Saturday 10th November.

Every point scored at every meeting throughout the season will be counted towards the National Points Championship at the end of the year. This Championship rewards dedication and commitment on a week in week out basis, and for this reason the winner will have the option if they wish to carry the much coveted #1 racing number for the following year.

The winner will receive a £200 voucher, 2nd will receive a £100 voucher and 3rd will receive a £50 voucher as reward for their efforts throughout the year. The winner will also receive the National Points Champion Annual Trophy (to be returned the following year) along with a smaller replica trophy that he or she will keep. In addition, the National Points Champion will carry the SILVER roof along with the #1 racing number (optional) and will receive a £10 reduction on their race entry fee at every meeting they attend and race at as current Champion throughout the 2012 season.

Junior ‘Young Guns’ Championship

Season long championship

Run over 16 meetings through the season with 2 dropped scores for a drivers worst 2 points scoring meetings. Points shootout finale, Birmingham Wheels, Saturday 3rd November.

British Drivers Championship

Coventry Stadium - Saturday 7th July

2/3rds qualifying heats on the day with a winner takes all Feature race. To spice things up, the grid for the Feature race will be decided by the toss of a coin to determine a normal or reverse grid scenario.

Scottish Championship

Barford Raceway - Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th September

Qualifying heats run over two days at this annual double header with a winner takes all Feature race over 20 laps on the Sunday.

In addition to the main Gold Top Championship & National Points Championship, we will also be running a number of other Series & Championships throughout the season;

The 'Shale Shifter' Championship

This will consist of all points scored on shale/dirt surfaced tracks throughout the season, with the highest overall points scorer at the end of the year receiving the Victory Lane Awards ‘Shale Shifter’ trophy. In addition they will carry and display the ‘Shale Shifter Champion’ logo (to be supplied by us) on their car the following season.

The 'Asphalt Ace' Championship

This will consist of all points scored on asphalt/tarmac surfaced tracks throughout the season, with the highest overall points scorer at the end of the year receiving the  PT Construction  Asphalt Ace’ trophy. In addition they will carry and display the ‘Asphalt Ace Champion’ logo (to be supplied by us) on their car the following season..

Grand National Championship

Stoke - Saturday 10th November

Grid calculated points scored by each driver during the additional Grand National races staged at meetings throughout the season culminating in a winner takes all race over 20 high adrenalin laps.

Track Championships

As with most Short Oval formulas it is our intention to race at a number of different stadia around the country throughout the season. The highest overall points scorer at each track (consisting of a grand total of each track at season end) will receive a trophy and be allowed to display the name of that track, for example; Buxton Track Champion 2012 in a prominent position on their Stoxkart the following season.
